Tesla’s submission to the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on 8 February local time showed that Tesla had made investments totalling $1.5 billion and indicated that it was likely that digital assets would be acquired and held over a long period of time, and that it was expected to accept Bitcoin as a mode of payment in the near future. Subsequently, Bitcoins was lifted short-line, quickly breaking the 40,000-dollar threshold, and kept up the upward trend, reaching a record high of $50,000.
