据多家媒体报道，继腾讯、阿里巴巴之后，百度也加入了对币圈的全面封锁。币圈吧、数字货币吧、虚拟货币吧等相关贴吧被全部封禁。

PANews查询发现，数字货币、虚拟货币吧、私募吧确实被百度贴吧关停，关停页面显示：根据相关法律法规和政策，本吧暂不开放。但包括币圈吧、加密货币吧、比特币吧等未被封停，并未达到全面封锁的状态。
PANews query found that digital currency, virtual money bar, private fund-raising bar had indeed been shut down by 100%, and that the page showed that according to the relevant laws and policies, the bar was closed. 此外，除了一些“货币吧”未被封锁以外，PANews搜索了部分“项目吧”、“虚拟货币交易所吧”也在“幸存名单”内，如交易所火币、币安；项目本体、波场、onechain等。

其实除了贴吧，百度的搜索位广告也曾成是区块链、数字货币宣传的“大本营”。在2016年，在百度投资了数字货币支付平台Circle两个月之后，百度就被曝悄然下架或转移了比特币和其他虚拟货币的营销广告。据当时彭博社报道，此次百度对虚拟货币广告的的清理力度之大，所有涉及‘虚拟货币’关键词的广告均被禁。

业内各方对百度这一举措的分析众多。彼时，全球比特币交易有90%都发生在在中国，还有信息猜测，这或许是中国发行法定数字货币的前奏，火币和OKCoin则认为，这意味着市场对各种在线诈骗行为的警惕，是百度对广告的一次大清理。特别是当时著名的“魏则西事件”，百度在被爆出一些赌博和医疗广告丑闻后，所采取的必要措施。值得一提的是，此前在二元期权被定为“非法”后，百度禁止了二元期权推广广告，紧接着又下架了大批外汇公司广告。

至今，距离百度清理虚拟货币已有两年。PANews搜索查询后发现，目前百度搜索位有区块链相关广告，并无虚拟货币、数字货币项目、交易所等相关广告。

但是对“数字货币”、“虚拟货币”等关键词的限制却早已不在。例如，搜索“数字货币”，结果第一个广告就是帮助获取数字货币交易ICO牌照的中介机构广告。搜索“虚拟货币”结果竟有网络虚拟货币贵金属平台等广告。
But the restrictions on such keywords as “digital currency” and “virtual currency” are long gone. For example, searching for “digital currency” results in the first advertisement being that of an intermediary that helps to obtain ICO plates for digital money transactions. Searching for “virtual currency” results in advertising such as a virtual currency precious metal platform.
此前也有自媒体发文指出，百度对数字货币相关信息管理不当的问题。

5月份，广东警方破获一起以发行数字货币诈骗未由的集资诈骗案。此案主角深圳普银区块链集团有限公司（下简称普银公司），通过“趣钱网”P2P平台，发行虚拟货币，大肆敛金。其中超3000人受害，骗取金额达3.07亿元人民币。

When investors don’t know what they're doing, the company advertises it on various websites, forums, and stickers. An informed investor said that the main reason why he's got the silver coin trap is because he didn’t expect that the 100-degree search would show that everything was as formal as a swindle.
