Ten days on the gun line, Bitcoin's trading amounted to $1 million. Li Lin, remembers that at most there were more than 10,000 openings in one day and 1.5 billion in six months. This created the highest record on the global Bitcoin trading platform.
而真正运行起来,李林发现这个虚拟金融产品平台跟其他品类有很大区别,业务和流程上其实存在一些风险漏洞。比如从淘宝购买点卡充值,最初就有人恶意欺诈,兑换成比特币后又去淘宝申请维权。由于虚拟货币产品没有发货记录凭证,让火币网一次损失了好几万元,后来只能把这个充值渠道停掉。
Instead, Li Lin has discovered that the virtual financial product platform is very different from other products, and that there are some risk gaps in business and process. This outbreak has left the team inundated, with a large number of new users and round-the-clock trades, and has kept the gunnet open. Many hardware has not been kept up because of the fast-growing and external traffic attacks, resulting in the lack of access to Carton. Li Lin is particularly troubled, “ this is a deadly blow to the user’s experience and has just suddenly been cut off from the deal. We have had to deal with it on our own, because this has never happened before. & rdquo; by the end of 2013, Li Lin was able to find multiple transport and security experts and to work with specialized security system providers, such as 100-degree acceleration and cloud nets, the problem was solved.

At a time when Li Lin was looking forward to the further growth of the gunnet operations, the entire industry was hit by — on 5 December 2013, five ministries, including the Central Bank, issued a circular on protection against the risk of bitcoin, a day when the volume of Bitcoin transactions increased, with prices varying between $5,000 and $6,000.
李林之前并没有过多考虑政策上的风险,不过稍后市场对于这份文件的解读是偏乐观的。它一方面表示比特币不得作为货币存在,但也承认“比特币是一种特定的虚拟商品”。“这就认可了比特币的交易地位,对我们其实是利好,作为商品交易平台也是合理合法的。”李林没有太在意。
Lee Lin did not think too much about policy risks before, but the market was optimistic about the document later on. Ten days later, the central bank has interviewed third-party payment platforms, such as payment treasures and cashiers, to prevent them from trading with Bitcoin. Third-party payments were the main way of charging such investment platforms as the Democratic Currency Network, and the cessation of services caused Bitcoins’ prices to fall significantly close to $2,000.
实际上在接到消息之前,各个比特币平台就已经改换为央行尚未约谈的易宝支付来进行充值。但随后易宝支付通知火币网:“12点准时要停,给你们两小时准备。”
In fact, the Bitcoin platforms had been replaced before the news had been received by the central bank’s still-uninterviewed treasure payment to fill the value. But then the money payment notified the gunnet: &ldquao; the 12 o’clock stop and you are ready for two hours. & rdquao;
“既然政策都说比特币可以交易,只是为了防范洗钱等暂停了第三方这一个支付通道,那么还有什么方式能继续呢?”紧急情况下,李林的直接反应就是不通过通道,用户直接通过网银或线下柜台往公司账户转账。两小时后,火币网就把充值主要程序修改为银行卡充值。虽然在用户体验上影响很大,但这个方式保证了交易可以继续。

This decision, however, has caused a great deal of operational trouble.
