According to PANews, on 19 June, Global Corporation Venturing reported that the funds and valuations of encrypted currency and Web3 start-ups may have experienced a significant decline over the past 18 months, but Brandon Gath, Managing Director of the company’s encrypted currency and block chain risk investment company Kraken Ventures, said that the market was now warming. About 80 per cent of Kraken Ventures’ investment portfolio was equity, and the remaining 20 per cent was token.
此前已经有消息称该风投将第二只基金筹集1亿美元，尽管Brandon Gath不愿透露具体金额，但他证实已经为第二只基金工作了几个月，并且将会在今年下半年的某个时候正式启动，同时有限合伙人组成将与其前身大致相同，包括大型资产管理公司、家族理财室、其他风险投资基金和贸易公司以及来自Web3生态系统的几位创始人。
While Brandon Gath confirmed that he had been working for the second fund for several months and that it would be officially launched sometime in the second half of the year, and that the limited partnership would be roughly the same as his predecessor, including large asset management companies, family finance houses, other venture capital funds and trading companies, as well as several founders from the Web3 ecosystem.
